Oh Happy Day II - wins award!

"Oh Happy Day II"  made my day at the Banfill Locke Ctr. for the Arts exhibit,
 Art of the Carribean, painting category.   Painted en plein air on the streets of Old San Juan, it has high energy and vibrant colors,  just as it was seen from my easel.
I was honored to be recognized especially among the strength of the other artists.

I'm really enjoying the summer, lakeside subjects as we approach the month of June - it's downright exhilarating after this past winter - I hope all is well with you - enjoy these lazy, hazy days...
